The design for The Oak Bistro’s gift vouchers was focused on communicating quality and value. Gold metallic ink was lithographed onto 160gsm 100% Recycled stock. The resulting voucher has a tactile rigidity and subtle lustre.
Custom labels were designed for the Bistro’s specially commissioned 10th Anniversary wines, which would go on to be bestsellers in 2019. A classic and traditional style was used, featuring an original painted artwork depicting the Bistro itself, by Cambridge artist Nicholas Juett (used with permission).

We designed and built a brand new website for The Oak Bistro, which we now host and maintain. The total redesign replaced an earlier site that hadn’t been updated in several years (see image above).
The new website leverages modern design patterns, technologies and systems architecture to deliver an easy-to-use, brand-reinforcing, mobile-friendly and fast-loading website.
Features include menus, a photo gallery and a booking form. The site is easily editable directly by the client through a separate, customised editing system.
We’ve provided a comprehensive social media service to The Oak Bistro, one of Cambridge’s top restaurants, for several years. Through Facebook, Instagram and other platforms, we’ve enhanced their brand and attracted new customers with foodie photography and delightful descriptions.
